I'm an advocate of staying in gear for the sake of escape and evasion.

This is what I was taught in a motorcycle safety class.

gotta agree with doug on this one. The way these people drive in the area I live..better be ready to move your ass in a hurry. Sitting at a stop light or not they will say they didn't see you. Besides...I have no weekness in my left hand for the time it takes for the lights to cycle.

Mostly I leave mine in gear. Some of our local red lights seem to last for ever and sometimes I shift into neutral for those, or if I have to mess with Sasquatch or something equally as silly....

At least the Rocket and my T100 don't suffer from 'weld the clutch ball to the basket' like the old Meriden bikes did. There is nuth'in worse than welding your balls to your basket and the removal procedure................

I really appreciate all you folks taking the time to let me know your opinions. It really helps!!! I, too, think clutch in ready to roll is the way to go but I really did want to know what you all think.
