progressive suspension scrapping pegs

So here are pictures I just took. Again I've the bike for 10 days, rode about 300 miles and have been in one canyon for maybe 20 miles. Looks like I'm near the edge of the rubber

Yeah looks like you are at the limit. As Bull pointed out, wallowing through turns is a real problem when your at the edge of the rubber.

My rhs peg cops it on a 80km/h sweeper so you don't need to be going flat out to have issues.

Looks like you are using the whole tire for sure....yup, taller shocks....get your cheeks in the breeze...you oughta be good after that. The way I see it is, you WANT to use the whole tire, so make room for it do it's job!

thanks all, I am 230lbs. ill change out and look into the 444 I believe and report back when I have the money, thanks again

At 230lb you're at the outer edge of the Standard duty progressive shock weight range and about 70lb too heavy for the stock pogo sticks (factory sprung for a 160-170lb rider, but have nowhere near enough damping built in).

Can I suggest Wilbers 640s... not THAT much more expensive than 444s, can be adjusted in length from stock to +1.2" (at home in about 10 minutes), will be sprung and pre-loaded for your weight and riding style when you order. Can be rebuilt for life and the adjustment range is pretty broad. They are biased towards sport riding, so they use a fairly heavy spring, but come with matching damping profiles so, while firm, they are still comfortable. They absolutely WILL NOT wallow in turns!!
