Here's the bear claw and oil tank emblem done. If you mess up the stuff just peals right off. Seems to be pretty durable though, time will tell.

Be interested in hearing how it holds up after a bit of riding and rubbing form the knee. It does look pretty good though and from what you're saying can be easily removed if you change your mind. With the tank embellisher, have you thought about removing it from the tops of the letters and/or the 'stripes'?

Yeah, I messed on the oil tank emblem and it peeled right off. I don't think that you can mask parts off and have the letters or high points stay chrome. If the plasti dip starts to pull away from the surface its all over, its coming off.

absolutely backwards....always add acid to water (slowly)...from a chemist (38 years!!).

It's less of a problem with dilute and weak acids, but if you add water directly to concentrated sulfuric acid you're in for big trouble....

Started small with the chrome swingarm covers. Very happy with the results.

Next? maybe the bearclaw or the headlight bowls. Luggage rack and backrest will also be on the list.
