I like to push mine well past the ton now and then and would just not be comfortable doing that with a tire plug.

Yeah I push mine past the ton pretty much every time I ride it lol but to be honest I forget the plug is there. Only time I do the speed limit is when my 8 year old is on the back

Cusso is on the mark but....Anybody ever heard of a blow out happening from where a tire was plugged? I haven't. I never even heard of one failing.

Plug it Jim. I plugged a near new tyre and ran it until it was fully worn out. Never lost air and frankly I forgot about it. I used one of the external, DIY type and have used them a few other times with no problems. I did an emergency plug for another biker in Tassie and it didn't work so good but got him out of trouble. Just depends on how clean and small the hole is. In the tyre Jim, the tyre. Stay focused.

Interesting how the same bloke can be so reckless on one hand and so smart on the other.
Must be an Aussie thingo, aye?
:p

Expensive Day!

I decided to have my tire plugged instead purchasing a new tire, and having it installed

The plug is $125.00, vs $330.00 for the new tire and install.

I told Rod the parts guy of my woes, and that I am still looking for a new helmet.

He felt so bad for me
He offered to take $200.00 off the price of a new Arai helmet

Here is the plug and my new helmet ;)
