I've melted bitumen sheeting onto the inside of my bearclaw in an attempt to lessen the induction noise ... it did help.

I just did mine last night.

I put the bearclaw on this morning with the sound deadening in it, Kicked it in the guts and I am happy with the induction noise reduction, It works well:cool:

Ta very much, all registered in my memory bank for future reference. ;)

Taking the bike to a aftermarket filter manufacturer tomorrow, they have offered to provide r&d and possibly put into production if something viable can be put together.

Thanks for that .. makes the melted bitumen look a bit stoneage :D
I was going to say Antipodean - but whatever you're more comfortable with ;)

I do feel it my duty to point these motherland options out to other members of the Commonwealth. The Acousta-fil silencer filler they make is supposedly very good too.

You could say Antipodean .. but you'd have to explain what it meant

I think he's implying all Australians are knuckle draggers...get him boys!!
Knuckle draggers - Hardly. That'd mean they can walk upright :p

Mr TOMCAT - I've just received a "Plastic moulded part" from the Antipodes - Thank you.

Off to clean the marsupial doo-doo away and get the slitting saw ready.
Hose clamps too - very grateful. :bch:

Have a shiny lined and rubber trimmed claw and a bit of proofing under the tank.
Any further forward under the tank and it was visible.

I have no sucking noise - not that the sound of the triples particularly bothered me in any case.

Now that's a great idea! Hope you don't mind I copied it. I used the extra Dynamat that I used in my car. Guess I gotta go for a long ride, just to make sure it works. Thanks Barbagris ;)
