Not yet mate she is booked in for wednesday i had a chat with the tech on the phone and told him whats happening and he seemed fairly confident that he would get it sorted during the service.

I think i already know what it is though ;) i was looking under the tank and noticed that the female threaded plastic thingy that holds the leads to the coils on cyl 1 is cracked the lead itself looks ok but that bit is what holds it in tight i told the tech about it anyway so hopefully they sort it without me having to buy a new set of leads because they are $300 for the rocket:eek:
if you need to get leads consider these a good looking lead Nology Hotwires Spark Plug Wires for all Tripples set = 3 leads - Triumph Performance Parts Australia these can be had for less than just a set of Triumph STD leads, there also matching coils at a reasonable cost, these are on my list of upcomming improvements as they are going to give a better than std spark which should lead to both fuel efficency as well as a possible power gain if they are in fact burning the fuel better.
oh and you can get them in fast red or slow black or a number of other coluors

U need six for the rocket . Two plugs per cyl
yeah sorry for the typo you need two sets but they would still be less than triumph STD set need to ring and see if they will fit StD coils but I am planning on buying both
