TuneBoy is a programme which will allow you to tune the computer in your bike and do lots of other diagnostic and correctional and adjusting stuff as well. The software is free but you have to spend a lot of money to buy their cable or bluetooth connection system. Then you have to spend a lot of money to get a digital key so that it will work on your bike.
TuneECU is also a programme which will allow you to tune the computer in your bike and do lots of other diagnostic and correctional and adjusting stuff as well. The software is free, and the cable costs around $20. It will then work with your bike.
I have both. TuneECU will do just about everything you will need to do on a (reasonably) stock bike. If you are supercharged or revving to 9,000RPM then you will need TuneBoy.
Which model 2009 do you have? Single headlight or two headlights? This is important as the tunes are different for each of these and you really don't want to put the wrong one in. Either way, Hanso will have a tune for you.
HI All thanks for the replies...everything got put on hold for a bit...had a small heart attack a few weeks ago....I'm on my feet but riding is not recommended by my cardio doc for the short term. I will restart this when I am running at 100%..cheers

Thanks...been busted up so many times in wrecks (used to race)....those were always self induced.....I guess this was also..it was my prize for my 1,000,000 cheese burger..no damage to the heart just a piece of sausage stuck in a small artery. Anyhow appreciate the thoughts and will be back to riding in a few weeks. Cheers
In the range of things you shouldn't do with a dickie ticker, riding a Rocket is likely to be at the upper end. Take your time so you can really enjoy it. Best wishes for a full recovery.
