Oil header tank leaking again!

Blow by? if that crankcase breather was indeed clogged you must have some crankcase issues because that area stays clean on mine and another engine ive split open. Sounds like rings if its not an oil leak

That's what I was thinking too.

Will find out next weekend got a 500 mile ride round trip Saturday and Sunday. Last time I had that much oil on the block it was just the oring had split.

Lot of pressure there, hope so, are we talking about the o ring forward most to radiator?

Yes that's the one. From the header tank that's slides into the block.

lube them up with something like wd40 when putting that tank on, real easy to crink pinch mess up when trying to jam that tank on. Its a pita

Mate done it about 8 times so far and wreaked heaps in that time.

Used grease last time and went on great. Can still see the grease around the pipe

Well hopefully it will be a trouble free trip unlike the last two.
