Official Upgrade Kit Poll, Who has and hasn't gotten it

George, do you recall how many miles you had when the problem occured? I always wonder at some point can ya feel like your out of the woods with so many miles racked up?

My bike has around 20K. I haven't seen it in so long I don't remember. The vibration became more noticeable in the last month or so of riding.

I'm wondering also.. I have always had a little bit of cam chain rattle when cold, but it goes away within a few minutes, after the bike is warmed up, and if I ride every day, I never hear it.. But it keeps me wondering if I should try for the upgrade kit..

I haven't had any transmission or clutch issues though

I don't think they are doing upgrade kits on anymore 2005's and with the amount of miles on have on that " Flamed Beast" I would say you are well in the clear.


When I pick my bike up I will post a full run down. I will say this, there are great Triumph Dealers out there and I think I have found the best one in the State of Virginia.

Yep I stop buy and see them every summer when I'm in Norfolk. I have a house in River Oaks behind the old Princess anne Boling alley.
