No 'good will' repair for 2008 R3

You bought a 10-year-old used bike, With a leaking head gasket, And triumph refuses to repair it, so because of that you will not give Triumph praises to your Harley friends?
Seems a bit silly.....
I just don't expect ANYTHING to be leaking after only 6690 miles. I guess I should only expect that from Japanese bikes. I have been on Hondas for the last 7 years. Its OK though. Im NOT bitter. I still LOVE the bike. Im still FASTER than ANY of the guys I ride with and they still HATE me because of it!

I wonder if it has the early POS head gasket? I would wager the vin number is in the upgrade range. If your not in a hurry two days (not long days) otherwise 8 to 10 hours if you stay at it.

You have to give the service tech credit for trying even tho he probably knew they wouldn't do it that's is more than some dealers would do with with a newer bike

Not surprising really BUT.
You bought this bike used in January 2018 from another DEALER????? get them to fix it as they sold you a bike with a pre existing issue - That would work here in OZ - dont know about your neck of the woods tho.
In OZ dealers MUST offer/give a statutory warranty - usually good for 3 months.

They are NOT obligated to fix it because they sold the bike "as it" with no warranty stated or implied. I doubt an Indian dealership would know what to do with it anyway which is probably why the sold it on the cheap. They just wanted to get rid of it!

My expectation of getting a goodwill fix on a ten year old bike is about the same as my expectation of living to 100. Hell... it's hard enough to get a bike fixed under warranty now days let alone being 10 years old. I had to go a couple of round with a dealership and put a call into Triumph to get something fixed on my first 2013 Rocket and that was 6 weeks after I bought the bike new.
