Looks in good shape ,now something tells me the swastika did not come standard

I was kinda curious too...according to wikipedia
Gott mit uns ("God with us") is a phrase commonly used in heraldry in Prussia (from 1701) and later by the German military during the periods spanning the German Empire(1871 to 1918), the Third Reich (1933 to 1945), and the early years of West Germany (1949 to 1962).

who knew?

Many of the symbols we associate with the Third Reich held entirely different meanings before they high jacked them. Many were religious. Recently there was a renovation at a church here in town and a number of swastikas were bound in a beautiful mosaic that had been covered after the war. The church dated back to the mid 1800s.

The swastika (as a character 卐 or 卍) is a geometrical figure and an ancient religious icon from the cultures of Eurasia, where it has been and remains a symbol of divinity and spirituality in Indian religions and East Asian religions.[1][2][3][4] In the Western world it was a symbol of auspiciousness and good luck until the 1930s, when it became a feature of Nazi symbolism as an emblem of Aryan race identity and, as a result, was stigmatized by association with ideas of racism and antisemitism.[5][6]

true, true unfortunately
