Picked up my new long haul touring seat today. Thanks @TOMCAT and @ozrider for your input and advice. $165.00 from Triumph Springwood took a week to get in.
The cable on the back catch is 15ml longer than the older seats. You can actually hook it with your finger. I didn't go with the old man backrest, not old enough yet. Another bit of plastic I won't be needing.
I just read that myself. I've already fitted it, what will I do now? Will I void my warranty? Is big brother watching me ? Will they come and get me for fitting it myself? Will the mechanics union black ban me for doing a mechanic out of a job? My head is spinning I think I'll go and have a lie down.
