You think you bring a Triumph to a Triumph dealer ship they should be the most experienced and fix what ever problem faster and less money because they should know the bike the Best.
Thank goodness I have not had any major problems with the bike.
I told my wife if my engine ever goes I’m going to throw in a v8 or a wicked six cylinder so I can have headers on both sides

there are two types of shops
the one that are in business to make money
and the ones in business to repair cycles/cars.
u just have to find out which one u are in
#1 tip does he take the time to talk to u ?
or tell u to leave it and i will look at it latter.
tip #2 does he listen? most of the time there is a story. i have been here and they done this then at the other shop ect.

I have had some crazy experiences with GP and Cycleworld mostly, people just bought a bike from either of them, they safety it and everything, then somehow it ends up coming to me to go over it and fix all the crap that should have been done during the safety, and the crap that just should have been fixed on principal.
Even Classy Chassis in Peterborough can be crazy, I bought my Harley from them a year and half ago, took 3-weeks to take delivery, they were to install the luggage rack, backrest, saddle bags, new seat and safety it. I went to pick it up and it had the seat and saddle bags, they were having a problem getting the luggage rack and back rest, but they charged me the labor to put them on though. I got it home only to find out that the petcock was leaking fuel onto the engine, and the right rear turn signal wasn't working. Fixed those myself and billed them for parts and labor, 6- months later they still couldn't locate a backreset and luggage rack, took me 4-days to find those items, get them delivered and installed,
I got pissed at them and finally got all the money back for the parts I had to install, and buy, and the labor

The one shop that I have found that is pretty good is 109 cycle at Warden and Danforth, but it can take awhile to get your bike, he is usually pretty busy

Yeah my problem is going to be is when I get my bike back from fabricator and it’s all newly painted I would like to find a good mechanic that if he scatches it he will be responsible to fix it, mean while I’ll be on pins and needles lol
Well hopefully when I get it back she will be good long enough for me to put first scratch in it

"I would like to find a good mechanic that if he scatches it he will be responsible to fix it" and I would love to find a 1967 Olds Cutlass FastBack with a 330 wide block, and 2-speed power glide transmission, and a 69 and 72 vette, all in pristine shape, and dirt cheap, I think the odds on us both finding what we are after are, slim to none, and i'm pretty sure I just seen slim walking out the door.

Lol I don’t like knowing the mechanics because if something does happen you feel bad to make them fix it. A stranger you can say fix it or I don’t pay you this way no feelings are involved

A friend of mine just emailed my a picture of the new 2019 rocket III model it is going to be a muscle cruiser based on the touring model I think that the name they are thinking of giving it is the Bruiser .
