Moving to a Standalone ECU

Not sure what temperatures that magnet on the cam will see (in Mufasa especially) but Neodiddlium magnets start to get weaker at 300F and then pretty much lose it at 450F. Might consider Samarium Cobalt which is generally happy up until almost 600F.

10 analog ins on the Haltech sounds like fun, you could automate all sorts of stuff based on external conditions. Hell... you could even not allow the bike to start unless you +/- 5 lbs is sitting in the seat.

Yes, it will provide a lot of options for sure. I'm no longer putting it on Mufasa, it's going on the second bike, Scar (Mufasa's evil brother for those who can't remember). I do plan on using a 4 or 5 position knob to control traction control sensitivity and a 3 position know for power level. Essentially giving me sportbike electronic capabilities circa 2012ish.

Are you going to stroke SCAR too?

Meanwhile, Simba (the daytona), is turning out to be wonderful stop gap :)
Shame you weren't here with me today. My mate has just signed the lease on a new workshop. The ex owner and now the landlord said he can chuck out or keep anything inside. Amongst the inventory - a PANIGALE. Only the little one but a Panigale. I tried but it seems he wants to keep it. God knows why eh?.

Actually I had to go and look it up - I had always just assumed that Mufasa had some meaning in the same way mine is often referred to as "La Osita" (Little bear - or Teddy). I now see you are a Disney fan - this is to say the least very worrying.

I'm not molesting Mufasa anymore. He's done (as far as engine mods go), all future retardation will be directed at Scar!

I’ve always named my boats after characters in Asterix and Obelix comics...
Haven’t really named my bikes...nice theme you’ve got going there.
