I think I lost my "mojo" today, I went on a 230 km poker run with 60 bikes on some back roads... well I felt like I had the snot beat out of me..... I guess the old body can't take the beating anymore, I need to get my "mojo" back or the bike will have to go....dam thing rides like a buckboard......on the next fine day I will try a long ride on the 4 lane roads and see if that helps.. perhaps a different bike who knows....ok.. end of rant :( any words of wisdom??:)

I've found that my old R3T rode much smoother and was a more comfortable ride than my current Roadster, maybe a Touring model would be a better fit for you.

Have you replaced your rear springs yet?

New shockies .. same bumps will be there no matter what bike you're on. My stock shockies were flogged at 60,000 klms .. dangerous to be honest. Which shockies to purchase .. there lies the dilemma.

I got about 30,000 km on the 06 standard made into classic +.

See if you can get hold of a set of shockies from a Roadster. The black springs are progressive . There's the Comfort shocks from Triumph USA, good reports from the blokes that run them. We've got pretty bad roads once you get off Highway 1 here in Australia , even sections of that are pretty bad. America has great roads compared to Australia , so i'm told.

Honestly a good set of rear aftermarkets may be all you need, and a lot cheaper.
-Progressive
-Hagon Nitro
-YSS
-Wibers (expensive)

Aftermarket front fork springs also help.

The rear stockers absolutely suck on hard bumps.
The aftermarket ones will make the bike handle better in corners too.

Do you have a preference to the above mentioned shocks? I had both hips replaced this past year and need all the help I can get to stay hooked up for a long day in the cockpit!
