on another note: these are pretty cool! i contacted the company for more info on motorcycle applications

Lens?

Does this replace just the bulb (it looks more like an LED set up than a HID bulb, like my USE MAXx D mountain bike light) or is there a front lens with a diffraction set up to avoid dazzling other road users?

We've always found their electrical stuff to be iffy on quality (Kyrukan)

It could be that I eat a lot of carrots or the fact that I was a deep seam coalminer for quite a few years but I have no problem at all with the stock lights

the 6" round LED light would replace the entire headlamp assembly. company says that the wide, medium and narrow lens options would not work -- the light pattern from the elliptical lens might. they haven't had anyone use them for motorcycle applications - and stated they are not DOT approved. they did, however, say that another company uses a modified-for-motorcycle version of their 2" spot/driving lights.
they're nice, cuz they're different -- but, i'll wait on them till after i find out about the fitment of the HIDs
