Installation of Neville Lush Racing "street" cams in 2014 Rocket III Touring

Moment of truth approaching.

DynoJet Power Commander III - USB installed to facilitate tuning later.

I'm very interested in your impression of the cams, hope you enjoy the tune and cams
The PC is only supposed to last the trip 67 miles to the tuner, and back, when it will come off.

And time is money -- want the PC to be immediately accessible to the tuner

I don't understand why the PC would come off, isn't it a piggyback?

Good luck with the cam and tune.

Alright, this has NOTHING to do with Nev's cams -- just my trying to do too many things at once.

On starting, there was a racket in front of the engine, and I quickly shut down.

Now, the clutch cover is off, and reveals definite scraping on the front of the clutch basket.

Let the analysis begin.

Yep now we have to find out what was flying around in there. Does you shifter feel any different?

In consultation with another, I would say that you haven't engaged the clutch lifter shaft with the clutch lifter rod.
All was good in there before you pulled this case off, nothing else has been un-bolted nor have you introduced anything new into this area.
So that leaves "Operator error" ? :(

Entirely possible, and probable.

But, I did not have the case off before now, so the scratches, if I did it, could only have happened as a result of my changing out the clutch cable -- Murphy at work -- if it can go wrong . . .
