Has anyone looked inside a set of TORS? Are they glass packs or what? If they are glass packs, could the glass be removed?

Triumph exhaust is totally sealed with welds, no way to get into them without destroying them.

I have a damaged one in the shed which I am happy to destroy to answer your question when I get some spare time. Give me a couple of weeks and I'll get back to ya

I've got some ideas, but man, it would be a major fabrication process. I've got some Harley CVO 4" can pipes. I have had a pair apart before and the pipes inside could be used to replace the stock piping. But by the time you got through, I'm not sure it would be worth it?

What about the TOR pipes. Has anyone ever cut one of them open? The pictures the other member showed were stock pipes right?

I would imagine TOR's are manufactured in a similar fashion with larger diameter innards.

How much louder are they? That will be telling as to how much less back pressure they have.
I would say TOR's are 4-5 times louder than stock. You can hear sounds like injectors ticking, water pump swishing and timing chain rattle with stock exhaust ... With TOR's you need to wear ear plugs. :D

what up, hellfire?

i dont think the tors are all that loud. yes, louder than stock, but not like some loud harley.
i dont like loud, to me the tors are just right.
