Good luck. If your experiment doesn't go the way you want it to, I have a set of D&Ds that I'll make you a good deal on.
I've heard that the D&D's are the best. I just didn't want to go the extra freight - and the TOR's were plenty loud enough for me.

x2

I traded a 2010 Street glide , Pipes , tuner , stage 2 . The only thing i miss is the Cruise control and the radio!

Anyone have a set of D&D or Tors they want to get rid of , PM me!
thanks John B

Okay. I think i figured out how to do it. These are with the stock mufflers, as I have not taken any pictures yet with the D&D mufflers. Let's see if anyone can tell what's different!
Pannier lids are white instead of black.

Looks great - but my Red and Black is still the faster color combination!

Bingo! You win the door prize! What that is I'm not sure.

I called Triumph and tried to send them some pictures to suggest a color change. They said they have their own focus groups in GB and were not interested. I told them one can call and make suggestions to HD and Harley actually listens..... Maybe if they would listen to their USA customers they might have a bigger foot print here. Fell on deaf ears!

I think when I get my new tires mounted and the new trip K&Ns on, I am going to go with a set of the long style 2 into 1 Harley touring exhausts. I know they only have a right side pipe, but two makes a set. They should stick out past the tail nicely, and I am pretty sure I can fab a mount easily. They should work out nicely. I have heard them on youtube mounted to a GL1500 (I know, not a Rocket triple) and they sound bad-ass; like a Porsche. I hope the R3T will sound as awesome.

I'm still trying to figure out what my bike sounds like. The closest I can come is a 50's straight six Chevy with a split exhaust manifold, duals and glass packs. Or maybe a V-6 car with louder exhaust. Nothing else describes this thing!

My Dodge with a straight pipe, Cummins of course. I totaly agree with the split manifold. I love the sound of the TORS, nothing else on mine(yet). Would love a header, maybe in the future. These bikes have a different sound than anything else out there. I also agree that the factory could give the Touring a little more horse power.
Good try on talking to deaf ears. Oh yea, try the black one for a faster ride. One color splits atoms faster. I think
