Hi all! Need your help guys. My R3 second and third injectors overflowing very badly. Fuel consumption went to 4mil per gallon, whole engine and oil reservoir was full of fuel. First I thought its an injectors, but wen I swapped them the problem still remains with 2 and 3 rd cylinders. I now it could be ECM, but any of guys had a similar problem? Advice please !!!

First post and asking for help, this will go down well :thumbsup:
an intro would have been nice, and some more info on your bike what year, model etc
@TOMCAT might know :roll::roll::ninja:

Sorry flyreels, my bike is Triumph Rocket III year 2006, no mods except for exhaust which is 3 into 2 it is been like that for last 3 years, no PC.

First of all, g'day and welcome. Have you done a compression test? If the oil reservoir is full of fuel then there has to be something broken for it to get there. Possibly a head gasket or even a crack in the head or block. Has the Check Engine Light come on? If so, what codes do you get from the ECU?

This is the first one I have heard of but there will be plenty more on here with better knowledge than me.
But if there has been fuel in the oil and engine that's not going to be good, I would hate to think of what bearing damage etc has been done especially if ridden any distance. Have you got tune Ecu if not look here http://www.tuneecu.com/TuneECU_En/. And get a cable from here http://www.lonelec.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=32. I have found these to be very good cables and look at the trouble codes for a start
Here is a good into into tune ecu if you are not familiar with it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hE2GnnqWWE
Oh and by the way welcome from one of the Aussies

Thank you guys. The engine light is on, but as I don't have a tuneECU cannot read the codes (that is next on my shoping list). Not sure about compression test as the initial problem is WHY injectors overflowing so badly?

Welcome from Mississippi! Like idk said, if you've got fluids mixing, you've got something more wrong than your injectors or the ECU. My guess would be the crack you've got somewhere is also causing vacuum or air problems indicating to the ECU you need more fuel let in? I'm pretty much a novice though and I'm sure far more experienced wrenches will be along soon to help you out. Definitely the first I've heard of this kind of situation on the rocket though.

Tune ecu is free and the cable is cheap if you have a compression gauge use it, it will be the best place to start
