anyone have a how to or some detailed pics?
i know it sounds stupid, but im having issues fitting my triumph windshield to my 2011 roadster.
i have the front end fixing kit on but having fitment issues.
im beginning to think they gave the one for the tourer or something.
i dont know.
maybe you just have to be smarter than the shield.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Don't have one on my bike but it should be cut and dry. What is the issue with the wdindshield not fitting? Does it have the cutouts for the dual headlights?Check yor part numbers if in doubt.
later and wish I could help more.

I'm guessing the roadster uses the same fitting kit as the std if you are haveing trouble lining up the fitting kit to the screen brackets heres a tip that might help I regularly swap between my touring screen and sport screen the trick to lining up everthing is to fitt the mounting kit to the forks but leave them loose enought so you can just move them the bolts should infront of forks not behind, mount all the brackets for the screen on to the screen again don't tightne them up all the way the fitting kit should be at the top of the fork tubes, put the screen in place ,(you might need a second set of hands) while linning up one side put the bolts in and only put them in half way then line up the other side once you have al four in place slowly tighten them up till the fitting kit brackets line up and the screen is centred. then goaround a tighten up all the bolts.
Hope this helps:)

I know this probably isn't much help, but your problem it must be something quite simple ......... 'cause I switch between a Roadster Screen and a Sports Screen on my 2010 Roadster without any difficulty

We had some trouble with the fixing kit and our summer screen. At length, we losely attached the kit and then fit the screen to the attachments and tightened them up, using the screen as a kind of "jig" to pull the fixing bits straight. It worked.

We trudge on.

In short what I was trying to say a couple of post earlier, works for me every time:D

ridin' a 2300 straight triple 4 stroke makes as much sense as ridin' a 750 in-line triple 2 stroke ...... makes no sense at all really;)

but both give a big Grin!!, just notied your line and love it the ol Kracker were a crazy bike if You could keep the front down :D mmmmm a bit like the rocket after only a few little improvements..... yup no sense at all but we do it:rolleyes:

i should have followed up.
sorry.
yeah, its still a pita.
also, i had to remove the two bottom corner windshield screws for clearance for the mounting bolts of the shield to the fixing kit.
and those wierd spacers.
