Anyone have a thought on this before I have the Triumph dealer just replace under warranty?
So I love the new fuel gauge and range indicator that the new Roadster has but the last time I filled up, it did not reset itself (neither the fuel or the range indicator). They just continued to count down after the fill up until now, according to the guage the tank is empty and the range just says 0. I have ridden it about 50 miles or so over bumpy roads since the last fill up and the ball is floating freely in the tank so it's not just a matter of a stuck ball that won't let things reset. The manual (yes I did actually look at the manual, shame on me) does say that the gauge can take about five minutes to reset, which it has since I got it but now nothing's happening.
Anyway, I just thought there might be some magic reset technique for this that I could do myself. If not, I guess it's just an electric short of some kind and the dealer will replace the gauge under warranty.
Thanks
