Fuel filter

How do you guys get on with regards reusing the washers on the fuel pipe union ?
 
Thanks guys that is the best information. How do i get one of those manuals without taking out a new mortgage. Lol
 
I don't recommend the Wix filter only because it doesn't filter down small enough to the required size.

The best filter is the KL145 from Mann/Mahle. It is the filter Triumph uses just not painted with "Triumph" on it for an extra $40. My Triumph dealer wants $54 for it. It can be purchased from car parts folks for about $12 to $20 bucks. Even Amazon has it.
The tank gasket is designed to be reused.

You must replace the 2 crush washers for the fuel line. They are a special size so I recommend you get the correct ones from Triumph.

You have me scratching my brain Mully --that was quite a few years ago when I changed mine but it was a wix and it works perfectly fine, Nat as for the crush washers i have used them twice so far and not one leak in 70000miles.
 
What u mean by washer
I assume it a workshop manual to help u tear up ur rocket
