Hi folk, I have brake problems. I just bought the front master cylinder rebuild kit from Just Rockets. Been pissing about for hours, bleeding them. I get 0 pressure, bled it 4 times. Reverse bleeding, normal bleeding, nothing. Can someone tell what I've done wrong? I put the new piston kit in as follows. First in was that small rubber cup, which went on the small end of the spring. Next was the piston and then the circlip. After which, the rubber boot. Is that correct? I can't see any leaks at all, again, 0 pressure. Weird.

Try this, fill the reservoir to the upper mark and cap. Let sit for 24 hours and then check fluid level. If it's the same level after 24 hours your system is air bound, if not, then your system should bleed on the next attempt.

Yeah, back at it tomorrow; I've had enough. I am going to try sucking out from the bleed nipple with a large syringe. Or maybe the spring needs turning around. Like the narrow end, with the rubber cup facing towards the lever.

Are you absolutely sure you got the correct kit? In my understanding the Roadster has a larger piston than the Standard and Classics.

I know

Mine is the standard. 14mm. Yes it's correct. I'm more interested in the build. Who has done one? Tell me about the spring. Which end goes to the bango?
I usually put them back the same way they came out. Lol
I just couldn't resist myself.
You may or maynot have tried opening the air bleed on the caliper to see if it will gravity feed?
