Free unrestricted maps for Rocket R GT and TFC now online

Sorry, I don´t agree.
The slightly richer cells at cruising speeds will smooth out throttle reactions, cause less heat, and even reduce fuel consumption as the combustion is more efficient than at lambda1 (afr 14,5).
In fact I played it safe and there are gains with an otimized (leaner) fuel at WOT and high revs. But it is at best 5hp with a stock bike and in most cases even a little less.
It will only be more if you remove the speed cutter and compare it to a restricted bike in the upper gears. (I agreed with Alain to keep the speed cutter active in my public maps. But everybody with a common licence can pay him some extra bucks to have it removed.)

Hello, last year we started going to a 1/8 mile drag strip and my ‘22GT was going around 100mph at the end. It never got into 5th-6th gear but my question is, if I went to a longer 1/4 mile track where I would probably use the higher gears would the unrestricted/speed cutter map be faster even though I wouldn’t be in the 140’smph? I hope this isn’t a stupid question but I don’t know if it has a hard “governor” @ 147mph or if that is done by the fueling. Thanks!

If you don´t hit the speed limiter, it will make no difference. But at the quarter mile you might get close.

Newbie here but want to upload the maps from my bike so I can see the values etc using TuneECU but.... Bluetooth adaptor doesn't even give me the option and with a cable the upload is greyed out... Any ideas

Rocket Storm...
First, you can't read the existing map from your bike using TuneECU and the BT adapter. The TuneECU website does have stock maps, but not for the Storm yet.
Second, you can't use a cable connection with any of the new Rockets and TuneECU.

I have a 2020 Rocket 3 GT, and I've installed a DNA air filter and a Vandemon exhaust.

I want to do a remapping with TuneEcu but I can't find any map for this exhaust, which has no catalytic converter, or one that accounts for the changed air filter.

Is there a guide to adapt these maps to take advantage of these changes? Or if someone has a link to a map that's suitable for these modifications... ;)
Thanks a lot!

I am a little worried after reading the word obsolete. Can someone confirm if this is an issue?

This is what i have done.
Downloaded All Markets Rocket R No Restrictions 31018Map.hex to my phone from Tune ECU
Connected via BT OBD2
Reprogrammed using the above map and TuneECU app
Let bike run without touching the throttle for 15 mins

After doing all this, when I checked map info, it said current version is obsolete, should I be worried?
I did more that 100km after remap without any issues

It says
Map : 31018_02*
*Obsolete, replaced by version 03

Do I need to update it to version 03, where to find it from?

You don’t need to update anything.

No you don't need to. You might want to at some point. I had this kind of up-date for my Tiger 900 GT. The new version was on the TuneECU App tune lists. Look for yours.
