Well see how long they and Alaskans horde when gas gets over 4$ a gal. Oil companies love it. like I said in another thread and you just said flip we have lots of oil, don't know about more than other countries Venezuela found a couple big stashes. But the point it nothing will be done and we will keep paying. There is not reason we have to pay over 2$ a gallon just because other countries are. Most those countries don't produce any real oil they have to import all of it. We don't. I liked the news yesterday oil is over stocked so crude fell in price. Ya from 125 to 117 wow its all business and we are paying the price. I was on a job earlier this week at a plant and they were saying the big companies won’t invest in drilling more oil because they are afraid the government will end up screwing them. Our government t no way don't believe that.
why stop at $4 a gallon. when people are running out and we are looking at 8-9 bucks a gallon we can bust out our reserves and make a fortune i say lets hang on to it and buy it when we can then when its all used up side from what we got we can make what ever price we want. not always are the smart decisions obvious
I just knew there was sound logic in buying the KLR. Last summer my commuter to school bike was the R3 at a sedate 40 mpg. This year, it's the not so sedate KLR at 55 mpg., and climbing.
The R3 becomes my long distance touring mount and the KLR takes it's place. I got a lot of razzing from the HD crowd at school until I told them the mpg and then I told 'em my little 650 twin cammer would whip their hog's asses. I had no takers on the challenge.
