Warp i did not have power loss and i think if there was any one with power loss it would not be related to the vibration.
1961 through 1964 olds had them damper asys on the flywheel to transmit power to the transmission and we always had to replace them because they would wear out. so i was thinking that might be the problem.
i guess the only way we will know for sure is to have some one that is really good to go after that problem. having a dial indicator to do run out on the basket,and see what happens when you start to apply the clutch.
if i ever go after mine i am going to try to start it with the cover off may be all that will happen is i get drowned with oil.
