Engine light on

did the third oil change and engine light came on.
Disconnected the battery for 30 mins and light still came on.
Any advice ?
 
At the RAA last weekend my engine light came on. Looked down and noticed the gear indicator was showing I was in first gear. I was really in fifth gear at the time. After three restarts the light went off and the indicator went back to normal.

Any ideas what happened in my situation? Do I need to clean the gear shift sensor or something?
 
Start and then stop the engine a few times. After a few cycles of this the light should go out unless there is an ongoing problem.

The easiest solution, however, is to hook TuneECU up, read the code, then erase it. You can look up the code in the manual by using "Control F".
 

I didn't know you could use TuneECU on a thunderbird.
You've done that before?
