hanso's right if you are working on the bike i just take the fuse out of the EB.light goes out.

Thanks for your responses. I did know about the starter relay (also have one on my 1994 V2K); but, it is my understanding that on the 2012 R3R the wiring is yet still taxing on the ignition switch and reduces headlight illumination. IF this be the case - I want to eliminate those issues. If a Beaver will do it for me - I'll buy one.

you do know that your starter relay turns off the headlight power supply as you hit the starter leaving only the little pilot lights on so why do want the light switch?

Its very handy when playing with TuneBoy (or TuneECU). No need to pull a fuse....

OK I have ordered the beaver. WOW - with the $20 switch and $20 shipping, total was $115.00! If it all works I shall be happy and consider it money well spent.

One of the most useful contraptions you can have for a Rocket is called a Hanso. I have one 90 minutes away so I haven't had to try to understand the EB instructions.
I'm sure they can't be too hard to follow though, given the number of people who have installed the EB kit. Good luck with it.

I watched Hanso do mine. No idea what he was doing. Looked complex to me. I just told him if it didn't start afterwards I was camping at his place. It worked!

I do not have the cutout switch but you can probably manage. I don't see the need for it but that's just my opinion.

Another Captain in my area fitted the kit to his Roadster and everytime that we rode together I would have to remind him to turn his headlights on. After the first citation that you receive for riding without your headlights on, you will understand why I have that opinion.

yeah i thought about that with the cut switch,i went without it.it would be better to have a delay of some sort instead of a switch,then say after 45 seconds or so the heads came on automatically.just sayin
