DynoJet 250i Dyno

Hombre,

For us guys with the small mods such as triples / Jardines / secondaries removed / Tuneboy, do you see any possibilities of custom ignition mapping?

From what I understand, an optimal ignition map with even a minor-modded bike such as mine could yield an extra 4 - 5 RWHP.

Appreciate any comments...

IMO great ignition mapping, like that done by Neville Lush, will maximize power (but probably not by 5 RWHP in bike with those mods). Never-the-less, there are gains to be had.

Sure wish I could send our tech to apprentice with Nev for a Summer.

Well I'm now the owner a nice DynoJet 250i, all in good working order. :)

It's been a lot of years since I did a 20 hr "road trip" to pick up equipment. The real excitment was trying to load the 3000lb dyno into the trailer. Silly me thought that it disassembled. You don't move this dyno without a forklift... very solid.

Hombre ,
Good read on hydrazine link

I was there that day

" The Ramchargers 65 altered wheelbase Dodge cracked the eight-second barrier for the first time at Cecil County Maryland in the summer of 65 "

Learned something about hydrazine too
never let it hit rust !
If its rusty your going to slow :D

Looks like we're going to charge double to install and tune 2 bar MAP sensors... triple for 3 bar. ;)

We've finally got this "beast" unloaded and setup in the dyno room. The local HD riders seem to want bragging rights... 5 pulls scheduled and we're not even quite ready.

I just love taking money from HD riders... $ka-ching! $ka-ching! :D
