DynoJet 250i Dyno

We have a tech that has already got his DynoJet dyno training, and knows step testing. One of the things I hope to do is optimize the tuning for my IC SC R3. Optimized timing made such a huge difference with my Ram Air, that I bet we can boost the IC SC over 270 SAE RWHP.

Turns out this dyno has the 2 head A/F pump and excellent knurling left on the drum. Don't know yet about the updated Theta Controller, but it's starting to look like a good deal. :)

Thanks again, Nev!

Hombre,
Once they have your Dyno up and running I would be interested in possibly buying some time as long as whoever is doing the tuning is knowledgeable with Tuneboy. The operator makes all the difference in the world when it comes to tuning so let me know and post a contact number for the shop. We have no one around where I live that has any idea as to how to work with Tuneboy and I have no desire to go with a PC III after purchasing Tuneboy.

Will do, Ross. The tech at Cycle Solutions is DynoJet trained in PC3 tuning. He will be learning TuneBoy on my bike, so give him a couple months of practice.

Also, we're in negotiation with Richard at TTS to be a TTS Supercharger Sales and Installation Center.

Sounds good to me. Good luck with the TTS thing. I asked Richard for a removable screen and side shrouds for the IC and he advised he was working on it. Any luck figuring out what caused the 2 pin holes in your IC yet?

If I had to guess, I would say stone hits... but there is no obvious fin damage to support this theory. Second guess would be defective cooler... but neither Richard or I want to contemplate this possibility yet.

I do think I can repair it permanently with the Muggy Weld. Radiator/Intercooler is now off bike awaiting materials from Muggy. Since she's down for paint anyway... not such bad timing.

TTS dealer?

oh I really hate you now.... sheesh I'm going to have to sell a kidney knowing I will have a supercharger dealer and dyno within driving distance of my house

Hombre,

For us guys with the small mods such as triples / Jardines / secondaries removed / Tuneboy, do you see any possibilities of custom ignition mapping?

From what I understand, an optimal ignition map with even a minor-modded bike such as mine could yield an extra 4 - 5 RWHP.

Appreciate any comments...
