I popped an updated Theta Controller in the dyno and she works like a new dyno! It's amazing to me how DynoJet gets $40K+ for a new 250i... with software update and new Theta box this 7 year old dyno is as good as new. It looks to me like the latest ones are even built cheaper without complete diamond aluminum plate cover. There really isn't that much inside them besides the Retarder.
