I have a chance to buy a used 2001 DynoJet 250i Dyno... complete and in good operating condition for $15,000 USD. Does anyone know if this is a fair price? I have no grasp of the used Dyno market, but new is $40k+.

What the hell... I made the man an offer and he accepted significantly less! Providing this dyno is "as advertised", we'll have a dyno at Cycle Solutions in Gordonsville, VA. :)

Hombre,

Congrats on the dyno! When you get some more $ burning a hole in your pocket, throw a party for us captains.

Enjoy the dyno and try not to break it!

Thanks, TallTx! I have an arrangement with Jerry at Cycle Solutions. He's needed a dyno for some time, and I've wanted one to learn my own tuning. Between tuning race bikes, HDs, and racing 4-wheelers... we should have my small investment back in 18-24 months (if nothing breaks).

Here's my new "tool"... it has the latest software upgrade and a new O2 sensor:

I'll bring the Whiskey....

That's quite the deal, once you get the hang of that it could be very useful.

My sincere thanks to Nev, at Neville Lush Racing, for a short education on what to look for to determine if this really is a good deal. One thing I do know is that Nev is the real deal of the bike world... highly knowledgeable and always helpful. Thanks, Nev!
