The thing I noticed with the other other graph is the torque posted doesn't peak until 3k rpm or so with the K&Ns. On the run by RocketandRollit, although in mph, it looks like it took a bit for the torque to come on.
On mine, with stock plenum and filter, the torque is much sooner, and then drops off in a nice arc.
Both my 13 Touring and SDCC's 06 Classic were done on the same dyno, by the same guy, so that takes at least one variable out of the equation (different tuners/machines).
Hopefully, next year, the header and intake selections will be improving and I can do a little more.
Ok Mr. Tripp, Ozrider's graph shows the same type of loss @ low rpm.
Can you give some direction on how we should proceed to regain our low rpm torque and smooth out that curve?
I didn't do the run, it was a guy that came over from the west side of the state for the weekend. I mentioned to him what I wanted, and to reset the trims. I can only hope he did. I am sure he did, he has been doing this for a while.
That definitely looks like Nels' trailer. He's an awesome tuner. I have the good fortune of only being 10 miles from his main location. He tuned my Yamaha Warrior but not the Rocket yet. Nels will be my first stop once I get the Rocket back on the road.
