TORS

Wayne Tripp tune.

No intake mods.

Run on a dynojet dyno.

Run conditions:

96.2 degrees F, 28.14 in Hg, Humidity 9%

He tweaked a little here and there, smoothed it out a little bit.

Baseline with Wayne Tripp tune:

117.75 hp 141.24 Torque

After tweaking:

120.9 hp @ 5500 rpm, 145.45 Torque @ 2300 rpm

Idle and riding is much smoother now, instant throttle response. We will see how the gas mileage does over the next few weeks.

I didn't do the run, it was a guy that came over from the west side of the state for the weekend. I mentioned to him what I wanted, and to reset the trims. I can only hope he did. I am sure he did, he has been doing this for a while.

That trailer was a tight fit for the Rocket.

Wayne's tune is the ticket, my bike is a pleasure to ride now, I wish he were closer so I could have him micro tweak it!

You say that now, but time has a way of making you want more in the quest for more output.

Isn't that the truth. I am eagerly looking forward to an intake mod that works well, and then a set of headers, which means a new pipe, and if I want more after that (who wouldn't) it will mean going into the engine.

This bike has so much potential, and still be very streetable, it is frightening.

It is the same guy, Nels. He comes over here a couple of times a year and does dyno runs for 3 days straight.

What mods have been done to yours?

Dyno and ReTune

It's got the 3 K&N filters under the bear claw, and the air box has been removed.
The stock exhaust (including cats) has been replaced with (what I'm assuming) is TORs.

Other than that... I don't know.

When I took it to Nels, he agreed that it seemed it had never been re-mapped after those mods. Runs MUCH smoother now, no ridiculous backfiring on deceleration... but I've lost some mpg.
