I feel your pain, the prat that serviced mine @&$$ed up the alarm, cost me bloody $800 all up together with no end of hassle

One day I'll tell you about riding down Brown Mountain (fellow southern NSW captains know what I mean) with my new heated grips sliding off the ends of the handlebars on my Roadking. In the SLEET! Just before the headlights went out. You guessed it, the dealer had just been paid to put heated grips on it and upgrade the lights. He decided not to use the adhesive supplied with the grips. And let the apprentice do the lights.

Lesson to be learnt - 'tis very dark and cold on Brown Mountain on a dark sleeting night. Keep warm by imagining vengeance being wrought upon the dealers.

Mate I know I would be locked up for a little holiday if that happened to me, I think I would possibly lose my temper just a little bit.

Freakin Hell the Brown is dangerous in Sleety conditions on a safely functioning bike...you must have near Sh!t yourself

Didn't know you were from Victoria. You could have experienced all that weather down there....on the same day!

Anyway, I wanted to head for Queensland ( or anywhere else it doesn't sleet) that night, but I was stuck on the side of the road with no transport, no light, and no mobile phone signal.

Well i just want to say i should have my bike back this arvo
and Moto Arena fixed the problem with the sump plug without me jumping up and down they wher actually good about it which is great
spoke to their mechanic Matt and he was very helpful and understanding about the whole situation and spoke to me with absolute respect so im happy with the way they dealt with me this far .

Not sure if the other issue im having is resolved yet though ill find out this arvo

Now im extremely pissed apparently someone over torqed one of the sump bolts and when they undid it today the thread came out with it im over this ******* thing costs a fortune to service and now im up for fixing this **** that someone else ruined cant even blame anyone because it was serviced there last time and springwood the time before .
Dont be surprised if im an ex rocket owner soon ive had enough

I know the "ex Rocket owner " feeling, Triumph service for me has done nothing but

Sucked I'm not too fond of supporting someone who could give a **** less about me. Buy thier product, now you're on your own. I love the Rocket but I've been looking at soon to be 2012 leftovers in another brand, won't be a Triumph.

Well picked the bike up $770 later and she still runs like a bag of crap
tech has no idea what it is but all three cylenders miss and he thinks its a fuel problem because its all three so im going to go over the pcv with a fine tooth comb and see if that is causing the problem.

PS triumph Australia wont help me at all because the bike is modified .
Ran some injector cleaner through her and cleaned the crank angle sensor to no avail so im going for the obviouse pcv.

this will either end in me fixing the problem or trading the bike already smashed a helmet in the carpark out of frustration and my bike will not be making a return visit to the dealer as they cant seem to help with modified bikes.

keep u all posted might be at rdu in a friggen car the way im going dont have piles of cash to poor into the thing so if its not the pcv its the highway and i wont be getting another rocket
