Dropped the big ***** off at the dealer


Yeah I'm gonna take the tank off on the weekend so I can get in and make sure it's all sweet. Na I was just meaning that I may have done something wrong when switching between tunes but my tune is in the Pcv . Bike seems alot better but not 100 % I'll get there
 
reason I ask about how the new connections were made is that if not done properly there may be a voltage drop in the connection and remember the little red button on the right handle bar control it carries power or earth to ignition which could result in weaker spark same result as faulty plugs or leads...... just a possabillity, its amazing how a slightly bad connection which causes just minute power loss can then cause just a little bit weaker spark which inturn can cause the fuel to not burn as well as it could hense the flat spot or missfire it is all linked together, "a little loss here can make a big loss there"
 
I think your on to something there mate remember I had my bars off to tighten headstock bearing now I find wires loose because it was done bodgy and then this problem. I will tackle it in the morning and do it properly once and for all. Hanso I appreciate all your advise mate not only now but in the past too thankyou .

Glad you seem to be onto it. Actually it makes perfect sense that it's a connection somewhere. Only happened after you had your bars off. Hope that's all it is. Did seem odd that it went from fantastic to sh1t so it seemed unlikely it was something like that.

thats alright mate the distance thing is a pain otherwise I would be there now fixing it for you you only need to ask The Kiwi and Richard how much I enjoy challenges..... Its a challenge not to get involved in helping others, I just love it... so I succumb
