Do I still need a tune from HansO?

Cheers. It will be a while before I have mine done, as I still have to install the Ramair and DP exhaust.

Hi ABC. In answer to your question , Hanso tunes are tried and tested by many members here and are generic for whatever pipes , filter combo you tell him you have . Everyone who has used his tunes have been very happy . A Hanso tune is perfect if you have neither the means nor inclination to use a dyno tuner .
A dyno tune , done right by a skilled operator is the best you can get . The bikes emissions and O2 levels are recorded and the fuel tables adjusted accordingly for optimum hp torque and efficiency . The dyno tune takes into account engine wear , altitude and many other things we would not normally consider . The dyno tuner can also remove any factory restrictions , up the red line , set engine temp and open up the secondaries . Basically your bike will run as well as it possibly can do with a print out for proof .
Your lucky to find a dyno that will tune via tune ecu . Most will only tune via a power commander !

If he has the Tune ECU chops and is doing it on a Dyno - YES indeed, as it is bike specific!

Thanks guys, for all the replies. My exhaust is still to arrive, but once I have installed it and the Ramair, I will be off to get it sorted. I specifically asked about the TuneECU as they advertise PCV on their website.
Anyway, I’ll check again before I take it in, and let you know the results.
I think Grumpy Old Codger may get his done before me at the same place, by the time I get round to fitting my bits on.

Safe riding!

Right, just spent the last 30mins on the phone to Dyno Tech in Tadley UK - 01256 881 711. They are going to give the bike a complete overhaul, replacing all fluids and oils, check all wheel bearings and replace if needed. They will be removing drive shafts, re-grease splines and check output(?) bearings, replace fork seals and oil and change to grade 7 (as recommended on here), remove throttle bodies, clean, replace vacuum pipes etc new plugs and leads as needed. Once done, will run up on dyno and then re-tune using TuneEcu and map to the bike to get max mpg/power/torque/efficiency and re-run on dyno. Price for all this is approx. £800.00 +vat. Booked for 17th Feb and will be there for a week! More updates to follow. Will probably cost a bit more but it has to better than having a complete half wit fumbling about with a couple of spanners and swearing a lot

If your going to be spending that amount anyway, please don’t pass up swapping out front springs for progressives while the forks are already apart

There’s a reason they have great reviews. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.
My exhaust is coming next week so I won’t be far behind you.

I believe the springs have already been swapped in the front by previous owner when t was rebuilt and has also already got 444's(?) on the rear - see below:
