On another Triumph forum someone had a similar issue with their alarm, ended up removing the alarm and splicing wires together. To remove it you'll need a harness to jump from the alarm connectors to whatever the heck the alarm connects to.
IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED THE WHOLE IGNITION SYSTEM ON THE ROCKET IS A PIECE OF CRAP PERIOD END OF STORY... SO MANY HAVE BEEN LEFT STRANDED I WOULD CONSIDER IT AN EPIDEMIC. My advise would be to get rid of the triumph ignition and any thing that has to do with it including the factory alarm... There are many option out there I replaced mine with a Hands Free Keyless Security from Digital Guard Dawg but there are many options available. Once again there are 2 types of rocket owners... one's that have been stranded by the crap ignition and the one's that are going to be. Don't let it happen to you replace the crap and enjoy the bike.
Problem fixed...dealer who had just serviced it before this disaster had removed the tank, then shoved it backing squishing the wiring loom and some bloody micro switcher another. By alarming!
I caught up with Hanso on Friday and he was on about headlight relays too. Geez I've had some hassles with this bike - but I rode it for seven hours on Friday and there's just nothin like it.
While I had a coffee with Hanso we counted the blokes who couldn't walk past it...obviously they reckon there's nothing like it too!
