Thanks Baloo...I get these are not designed to be subtle !... but mine sound crap and the performance (hesitation) not good , not as fast at any gear etc. Was with Triumph tech yesterday. He tried everything and checked everything. He even called a tech line these guys use. The issue is obviously lack of back pressure and 'something or other not closing'...forgot what he said? Anyway solutions apparently are a) put back the oem cross pipe and this will cure the issue(increase resistance) or (and the guy on phone said really not meant to suggest this) get a power commander 5 and 02 sensor delete that comes with it and I'll be good.
So, before I rip the whole **** things off , I'm going to get the PCV.
Id like help with a question Guys...The map loaded now is the Triumph map that replaced the TORS map - for the V&H pipes they sell in the dealerships these days here in USA. I read somewhere that with the PCV I have to get the OEM map for the original non tors pipes back in the bike , the map the bike came with (arrrgggh!)- Is this right Guys?. OR can I install the PCV and simply get on with it? What map do I down load for this new PCV?.
Finally , is there any merit to also adding the auto tune???
thanks all...sorry my woes are becoming an epic but its a brand new bike and I'm so disappointed with these pipes. Its just not a pleasure to ride anymore. I've had loads of variants before(this is my 3rd TR3) and never had something so hard to overcome than this and DP suggesting 'no tune necessary' is a complete joke frankly. So before I really do wish I spent my money on far more sensible things like booze and chicks, I'm hoping my friends here can navigate me through installing this PCV...thanks again all!
