Fiddling with a PC6 is easy compared to Tuneecu, so long as you can install it. Vandemon cites huge power increases with a flash tune. I’d be interested in what tune they used and whether they’d give it to you. For $2K, I’d want the tune. I also don’t believe it doesn’t need a remap with the cat removed. At least part of the reason for the increased popping is that it’s lean on decel. Not necessarily under other engine loads though.

Since flashing the Penner tune and installing my Vandemon exhaust the decel pops are starting to be a little annoying. The richer fueling of the tune made them noticeably more "angry" even with the stock exhaust and the new exhaust now doesn't muffle them as much as I'd like. As great as that canned Penner tune is it's not quite a custom one. There is a tuner not too far away from me in Modesto but he only deals with power commander. I called a couple of tuning shops around Carson City NV and same thing. Now I'm contemplating if I should flash the stock tune back and go the power commander route. I rode around today without my usual earplugs because I wanted to listen to what's going unfiltered and with the exhaust openings being on the side right below my ears even my full face helmet doesn't help much. I do love the Vandemon sound and just want to tame down the pops a little, just a little.
Bt Moto in San Diego tuned my 2025 GT and got 175 hp to the ground and a top speed of 190 on the dyne. You can watch the video on YouTube.

The popping increased after flashing the Penner tune WITH stock exhaust and yes it's the correct one, it's just much louder and noticeable now. The increases in power that Vandemon claims are compared to stock tune and I already have Penner's tune so any additional gains are probably negligible. I asked them before buying about tuning, they said it's not neccessary unless I want the power gains (see attachment) and I just sent a message to Vandemon asking for the tune they used.
The sound is such a night and day difference from before and of course I hear most of it especially when going slow, then again I never had anything that sounded like this before so maybe it's just my ears being de-virginized?
