Clutch cable problem

I drilled and tapped the tree on each side and made some neat little guides like my Valkyrie use to have mounted on it. I used some stainless plain welding rod. Also, I noted that that dots do not line up the way an OCD person would like them to -- must be half a dot one way or the other.
@warp9.9 told me which way to bias it, but I don't remember.

A SKILLED OLD MAN though. This makes a huge difference. But we NEED an inventor. I am reasonably skilled with a a lathe and mill - neighbour is really skilled with a welder and a more than passable painter. We need a small fabricator to make us fully autonomous.
