"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".

I was simply voicing my 2 cents, Or did you bother to read both comments?

Not upset at all and hope you aren't either. In 15 minutes I head for the dealership to pick up my new R3T so I'm rather high right now. Also I got poked in both ends an hour ago from my Urologist so my voice is much higher. Can't you tell? LOL

Don't get your panties in a bunch bro,

No bike is with out some native issues, HD just has more then most its a simple fact and 2008 has been one of there worse runs in resent times mainly the CVO line. And if you didn't know this then perhaps your the one that is Ignorant.

Of course, you have a credible source to back up that "simple fact", correct?

It's about time you get to pick that bike up! It must be torture just being able to visit it.. lol

Hope he relished the encounter. Not exactly my 1949-vintage notion of happiness on this earth, perhaps, but (deep-piched voice NOW) understandable all the same.

Best wishes Bobmielke, Jamie:)

All I can say is that I've taken some long distance rides (cross country, multi-state), on a '01 Road King, a '99 SoftTail Standard, and I owned an '01 Road Glide for a while, and all were great rides that were very reliable. My buddy James has an Electra Glide Standard with 60 something thousand miles on it, and I believe his wife's Road King is closing in on that as well. None of them have had any major issues. I will say the SoftTail almost left me stranded, BUT.. thank God for Reserve!.. hahaha. The '01 Road King I rode did sprout an oil leak through the primary gasket, but that was easily fixed by, get this.. some bikini girls doing oil changes.. :D:D Truthfully, they were surprisingly very knowledgeable and if I wasn't married.. Hey, what's better than a girl who knows bikes?.. lol

I really enjoyed the my Road Glide, and it actually had some get up and go. The only reason I sold it is because, well.. I'm a Triumph guy at heart, and also a muscle car guy.. I have no muscle cars.. but the Rocket definitely fits the bill.. :) Harley has one thing that I WISH TRIUMPH WOULD TAKE NOTE OF. Hydraulic valve lifters that never need adjustment! HELLO, this technology has been around since the early 1900s? Even the Honda NightHawk 750 has hydraulic lifters, so don't say it can't be done with over head cam.. :)

Just as I suspected, unfounded rhetoric...

Daryl my man I'm not sure what planet you've been on for the last 20 years but it sure wasn't this one! I just figured why bother spouting credentials or trading ware stories about a bike when at the end of the day no matter how true it is someone like you would most likely choose to dis believe it any way so what would be the point.

I will give you this however, few of even the most hard core Harley dude would make a statement like (HD has not had any reliability issues in the pass 20 years) that's not a direct quote but its basicly what you said.

LMAO dude you are to funny
