Can not believe the new 2008 Turing Rocket

Daryl my man I'm not sure what planet you've been on for the last 20 years but it sure wasn't this one! I just figured why bother spouting credentials or trading ware stories about a bike when at the end of the day no matter how true it is someone like you would most likely choose to dis believe it any way so what would be the point.

I will give you this however, few of even the most hard core Harley dude would make a statement like (HD has not had any reliability issues in the pass 20 years) that's not a direct quote but its basicly what you said.

LMAO dude you are to funny

What planet? The one that's still waiting for you to provide one shred of credible evidence to substantiate your claim that HDs are "worse than any other brand" in lieu (that means instead) of attempting to deflect attention away from your innuendo.

"LMAO dude you are to funny"

Oh my, Bob (I believe is his name) is going to have a field day with that. ;)

Ok enough is enough lets act like adults. If I wanted pure power I would have a sports bike, If I wanted an American classic I would have a HD, If I wanted pure comfort I would have a wing. I must be on the wrong forum I dont own any of those bikes ah ok now I got it I wanted something different something I would not see 10 of every where I went yes and should we forget a fair dose of comfort, power and quality and thats what I and we have. Love it or hate it, agree why you have a classic or a touring it makes no difference I have been behind both metric and american bikes with pieces falling off of them for any brand you may get one that has issues it does not matter what brand style or type. A few weeks ago I was at an event with 3500 bikes only 3 including me were on rockets that right there made it worth it I was next to 4 harleys all the same model all the same color if I dont know which bike is mine I would likely make a mistake. now personally I am an officer with the SCRC and when it comes to my chapter I tend to prefer to have the largest bike of my members whether my second officers vulcan is faster or louder makes mo difference my bike is bigger if I can live with that so should every one else

Your post reads very similar to my original statement. My BMW K1200LT(Light Truck) had a fairing mounted mirror fall off after hitting a pothole. Since I just picked up my new R3T I can attest that I can afford any production bike made & I chose the Rocket. I traded in a highly tauted 2005 BMW R1200RT for the Rocket. We are all on this forum because we share one thing in common, a love of unique Triumph motorcycles. The photo my friend took of me sitting on my running Rocket seconds before I rode it home shows one happy dude. It's all mine, mine, mine. :)

Go back and read my post before you comment again now your just getting stupid.

Stupid? I'm not the one that can't spell, punctuate or construct a proper sentence. I merely asked you to provide a credible source to back up your rhetoric about HD motorcycles, which you've still not provided. If you choose not to (likely because you can't), then just say so and I'll leave you alone. If you want to keep tossing insults, at least try to be literate about it. ;)

Bob,
Should be "highly touted" .......sorry, couldn't resist.....:D

p.s. Hope you were able to sit comfortably on the bike after the two pronged attack !! More importantly, I hope the result was a positive one for you.......

Have you been able to wipe the grin off your face since you got off the Rocket ?

Pete

When in doubt attack the spelling LMAO!!!

Did you go back and read my post! Or are simply being a !*%@ just for the hell of it?

As I already said, If you for what ever reason need to believe that Harley Davidson has not had any reliability issues over the course of the last 20 years then what can I say, except better you then me!

No Motorcycle mfg can make a claim like that and you know it. So wake up and smell the oil burning.

Oh and what, do I work for or something, go do your own d@m home work Iv'e already done mine!

Walt

Ya your rite, but this guy is to funny

I have to admit that I haven't seen anything funny so far.

Maybe it's because everyone has a different way of floating their own boat. Heck, two human beings might be so different that they might even get into a discussion on whether Harleys are reliable or not. That'd be a first.

Now let me think.....how many times have I seen agreement at the end of these discussions ? Oh that's right.......never.....they just end up in name calling. Bet that doesn't happen here though !
