pressure washing followed by WD-40 spray

Spray Pledge on it and start her up. The heat will melt the pledge and make it look all shiney and new. Did it for years on a Honda with no ill effects.

I just wash it and towel it dry to keep it from spoting. Every once in a while I'll spray some Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner on the bottom side to disolve the grease and road grime, then hose it off.

S100 Engine Brightener, not sure if available in the US but has to be the best stuff ever, excellent on all black painted components; or I have used Inox (similar to WD-40) also excellent.

i've used this product from victory its a black and silver inhanser that makes the mat black finesh look new or freshly painted so if you have a victory motorcycle dealer stop in and try it it works great !!

YEP Ive been using pledge for ever you can use it on your helmet and windscreen also OH i like the LEMON PLEDGE
