Black Bear Claw?

Busajack beast

Busajack,

Nice mod on the bear claw. Are you using kn's and if so what size? Any heads up on the neat rad overflow and how it is fixed on would be useful.

Gonna have the bearclaw and radiator shrouds painted the same color as the bike (Mulberry Red). I think that will help "hide" the radiator and way improve the looks of the bike. Will post pictures in a couple of weeks.

Very cool RR. What filters are you using and are they on the primary or secondary thottles?

carb filters

guyspy,
They are carb filters (Daytona's). They sit directly on the throttle bodies.
I have not removed the secondaries.

Confused re air filter performance!!!

Been reading about and looking at the very cool pics you guys are doing with the filters and modifying the bearclaw...and thinking of doing the same..especially after looking at Busa's work...here's my confusion..my dealer who has been pretty good with information/service..says he has dyno info that shows a slight loss in h.p with the k&n filters and cutting the BC causes a slight loss because of turbulence...the rocket has so much power that it hardly shows accept on the dyno...any feed back would be appreciated....

I think your dealer is ***ing with you. Most any free flowing intake and exhaust with help with the hp department.

Aye up Tom as the forks are alluminium you could get them anodised any colour you want. There is also hard anodising which will protect the forks and is a better finish. You would have to strip the forks to get em done.
Forget it stick on the vinyl :D

There's only one colour for a proper motorbike and that colour is black. 8)

Hey Owl man, If you could get the same vinyl or leather for the forks as your tank cover that might look kool. Crazy Jack   :D
