Remember being stuck in a mates tin roofed shed when a really vicious hail storm hit a couple of years ago .. it was frightening , thought they were going to come through the f#ckin roof. He had 5 or 6 customers bikes in the shed at the time.
I was Just about to head off from Pinkenba and ride over the Gateway through it when the boss called and said wait it out as there was hail and masive wind , good thing i would ended up in the Brisbane river haha. Waited an hour, then got no rain for the 100klm all the way home !!!
That storm damage up here just reached a billon $ .it looks like fairy mountain copped a a bit of hale .My brother rob just got a quote to repair damage on his caravan $40,000

Ouch ... is he still up there or been home and back again, as usual we have been very lucky in that north and south of us has really coped it yet apart from a few umungus showers and heap of lighting but no real damage except where gutters didnt cope
He was up here a couple of weeks ago ,back down at batemans bay .i think he will be there a while as he's organising plans to get a house built at fairy mountain
Archerfeild, Rocklea and Moorooka got smashed. How'd you get on @Mittzy? This driver thought he would shelter from the hail on Beatty rd Archerfeild beside parked B double trailers. I think hail damage would have been better.
