Apes anyone?

If you don't want the full ape hanger look,
I've got Road King bars on mine, and they look alright
and are way more comfortable than the stock ones to me.
 
36 inch apes would require 3 inch tubes to seem proportional. They might look good, although I have enough problems with my hands falling asleep when they're below my heart...much less two feet above.

Get the risers. They are VERY nice to have.

I post this only because it's relevant here - not because I think there is any correlation between ape hangers and below average intelligence!....

Driving on a freeway and we get passed by a wide glide with AH's. This is the conversation I then had with my 7yr old daughter:

C: "daddy that looks dumb!"
Me: " yeah, it's not good for controlling the bike either - you just try holding your hands above your head for a while"

...after about 30-40 seconds of that...

C: "Daddy I don't think that man is very smart"
 
Those bars are a bit high and back for my liking. I would like them about 8 inches back and higher. Also the same width and angle as stock std bars.

I kinda get the feeling someone is taking the piss.
