Anyone have A9638031 oval mirrors on their R3T?

Starmanut:

Are you saying that the morrors are convex? That would be a big plus.
BTW, the part number for the drilled versions is A96302.
Thanks again. You guys are always helpful.

I have them on my 2010 Touring too. Love 'em. Broke the left side once and had a glass shop replace it, but is was not convex glass, so the view was not as wide (far) and everything was way close up.
I eventually just replaced both of them.

And as Idaho Red mentioned they are both the same.

Yes. Just like on your car. (objects closer than they appear, etc, etc...)

I have the black non drilled version and the mirror moves a bit at higher speeds, anyone else have this issue?

I have the black ones on a 2015 roadster. I did have to file down about 1/8" or more by the bottom threads to get one side to fit tightly. If they are convex, it is very slightly. The stock roadster mirrors were very convex and terrible to try and see out of. I dont get that "fun house mirror" feeling with these new ones so I'm not sure. I do find that they helped with visibility a lot over the stock mirrors.

I would say they vibrate a bit, but I honestly havent had a mirror that didnt. As long as they can hold still enough to indentify the lights on top of a CHP cruiser, I'm good.
