Does she not need a LAMS approved bike?? or is that a thing of the past these days?

Yes I'm on a lams approved for 12 mths then after that I can ride anything. So for the time being we are looking at getting a V-star 650, friends have one and they are going to let me have a ride to see how I feel before going and buying one :D

Good to see, hope all goes well

Same as here. Fortunately the ACT goes on power:weight, which means a huge range to choose from, including America/Speedmaster, all the 750s/800/900 cruisers, even some 1300s and, surprisingly (yet not so surprisingly ;) ) most Harleys except V-Rod. Hope it goes well too, Cathy.
